Vortex Q3 Mini 2 Drone – Setup & Calibration Guide

Follow this step-by-step guide to quickly set up, calibrate, and fly your Vortex Q3 Mini 2 Drone safely and correctly.

🔧 Step 1: Power On the Drone

• Press the ON button on the drone battery.
• All drone lights will begin flashing.

📍 Step 2: Place on Flat Surface

• Place the drone on a flat, stable surface.
• This is critical for accurate calibration.

🎮 Step 3: Turn On Controller

• Press the ON/OFF button on the controller.

🌐 Step 4: Select Language

• Controller screen will turn on.
• Select your preferred language.

⚠️ Step 5: Flight Safety Notice

• A guide screen will appear with unsafe flying environments.
• Tap OK to continue.

📡 Step 6: GPS Connection

• Wait for a beep and voice confirmation: "GPS Mode".
• This means the drone is connected.

Light Indicators:

• Front lights → Steady
• Back lights → Flashing quickly

🧭 Step 7: Compass Calibration

1. Press and hold the Drone Calibration button for 3 seconds.
2. Controller will beep.
3. Rotate the drone horizontally 3–4 times.
4. Controller beeps again.
5. Rotate the drone vertically 3–4 times.
